The Taeguk Warriors shocked and delighted the soccerverse in 2002, finishing fourth in the World Cup in front of their home fans. Don’t count on more of the same in 2018. Coach Shin Tae-Yong’s squad is ranked No. 61 and there’s no reason to suggest it can overcome any of its Group F foes. Midfielder Ki-Seung Yung just finished a successful run with the English Premier League side Swansea City and Striker Son Hueng-Min is a rising star with Tottenham, but the defense is suspect and overall talent level is just OK.
