Dele Alli Challenge Gets Even More Challenging With 2.0 Version

Just when everyone almost had it figured out...

The Tottenham Hotspurs' star midfielder Dele Alli gave the world an engrossing new challenge earlier this month, and the internet answered his call. His surprisingly difficult hand gesture/goal celebration became its own meme, inspiring a hashtag (#DeleAllieChallenge), online tutorials, and thousands and thousands of close-but-not-quite attempts. (Above, ABC correspondent James Longman tries it out on August 22 with one of the Thai soccer players rescued from the underwater cave.) But just when you had it down pat, Dele Alli threw in a new degree of difficulty. Try to figure this one out, then take a look at some new photos of the viral sensation.
