The speed. The celebrations. The beauty. Two F1 photographers relive two decades of racing greatness.

Celebrated sports photographers Clive Mason and Mark Thompson have each been following — and shooting — Formula One driver Fernando Alonso for the entirety of his 17-year career. During that time, they've covered the two-time world champion at races all across the globe — including the veteran Spaniard's 32 career Formula One victories. Upon Alonso's impending retirement at season's end, the two Getty Images staffers look back in time — and through thousands upon thousands of images — to share their favorite shots of the legendary driver.
