Students Rally to Remember Columbine, 19 Years Later

Across the country, people call for change.

Almost two decades since a school shooting took 15 lives (including two gunmen) at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, a nation is remembering the horrific American tragedy that still resonates in today's gun law conversations.

Across the country, students participated in a National School Walkout Day to call for stricter gun laws, and in Littleton, survivors from Columbine and Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida came together for a moment to grieve and register to vote. Here, some of the most moving scenes from the country's vigils and rallies.(Pictured: Terri Straut becomes emotional during the “Vote For Our Lives” rally and vigil at Columbine High School on April 19, 2018.)
