Banksy, the celebrated British street artist, apparently just added his first new work in New York in five years. But it's missing something . . .

The rat running inside a clock, hamster-style, offers cagey commentary on New York's rat race, capitalism, and perhaps on the banking industry facing a ticking clock — the building itself is slated for demolition. But as the clock is high above street level, it's also missing something: the serendipitous interactions with passersby who become part of Banksy's art.
