Protest at Gaza-Israel border

Gaza: Striking Photos From the Front Lines

Tensions on the border between Israel and Gaza boil over

With the controversial move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip has erupted in violence, tear gas, and billowing black smoke. As Palestinian protestors threaten to breach the razor-wire fence that marks the border, Israel has reportedly fired live rounds; so far, at least 52 Palestinians are reported dead and many more wounded in the deadliest day of violence since the 2014 Israel-Gaza conflict. Here, photos from the front lines.
