Fire hits shopping centre in Kemerovo, Russia

Fire Erupts at Russian Shopping Mall, Killing 64

A massive fire burned through a bustling shopping center in Kemerovo, a coal-mining city 2,200 miles east of Moscow, killing at least 64. Dozens of children are among the victims, and many more are still missing, according to Russia's state news agency, Tass.

The blaze caused the roof to collapse, preventing firefighters from entering the building. It's popular among local residents, especially children, for its entertainment complex featuring a petting zoo.
