New 007 Exhibit in Austria Is Fit for a Bond Villain

Blofeld would feel right at home in this Alpine museum.

A new museum dedicated to the James Bond film franchise just opened in Austria, and it looks like the well-appointed lair of a criminal mastermind. The building houses the exhibition "007 Elements" and is situated at the top of Gaislachkogl Mountain in the ski resort town of Sölden, Austria, where parts of the last Bond movie "Spectre" were filmed. As befits a privacy-obsessed Bond villain, it's around 10,000 feet above sea level and only accessible by two gondola rides. Here, a look at some of the museum's James Bond experience. Much of the two-tiered museum is devoted to the 2015 Bond movie that filmed nearby, although there is plenty of space given to the older Bond movies. Visitors walk through immersive video elements that pay homage to the Bond films of yore and can browse a selection of props and artifacts from previous movies like a grappling gun from 1964's "Goldfinger" and one of Roger Moore's ski poles from 1977's "The Spy Who Loved Me."
