April 29, 2011: After a decade of off-and-on courtship followed breathlessly by the media, Prince William, second in line to the British throne, married his university sweetheart, Kate Middleton. Not since William's father, Charles, married his mother, Diana, had the world been so enthralled by a royal wedding, with an estimated 2 billion people around the world tuning in to catch at least part of the spectacle. Life has been a whirlwind for the couple since that happy day — the popular Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now have three children plus a schedule packed with charity events and social appearances.
