Robin Leach, the longtime reporter, columnist, and host of the TV show "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," on which he immortalized the glittering catchphrase "champagne wishes and caviar dreams," passed away in Las Vegas on August 24 at the age of 76.
The British-born Leach — who'd been hospitalized since November after suffering a stroke — had been most recently working as an entertainment columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He'd had a long, storied career as a reporter and commentator, but was undoubtedly best remembered as the host of "Lifestyles," a series that ran from 1984 to 1995 and gave a new window into the fizzy, decadent lives of bold-faced names as varied as Cheryl Tiegs, Larry Flynt, Ryan O'Neal, and Julio Iglesias, to name a few. Here, some of the best photos from Leach's career.
