A 'Grease' Reunion

John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John celebrate at a 40th anniversary screening.

They go together like, well, John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. The stars of the blockbuster 1978 musical "Grease" reunited in Beverly Hills on August 15 for a special Academy screening of the movie to celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. Also on hand: Didi Conn (who played the gum-popping Pink Lady Frenchy), Barry Pearl (who played the goofball T-Bird Doody), and the director Randal Kleiser. Here, a look at the Rydell High reunion.

Newton-John remembered being apprehensive about taking the role. "I was very frightened about doing the movie, and my music career was doing okay," she said. "Then, they sent John to meet me. And who could say no? This gorgeous guy walks up my driveway with these bright blue eyes."
