15 Cool New Finds From Our Archive

Every week, thousands of new archival photos are added to Getty Images’ online archive -- some come from well-known collections, while others are rarely or never-seen pictures that are being digitized for the first time at our archive in London, where more than 80 million physical photos are preserved, edited, and catalogued by a team of experts. You can see some of FOTO’s stories featuring discoveries from the London archive here and here.

Today, we’re featuring some of the most intriguing new images – including a space age playground, vigilantes in Northern Ireland, Nixon in Rome, and breakdancing in New York -- that have recently been unearthed in our archive collection.
