The Elephant Literally in the Room: Animals in Unusual Places

Photos of beasts and critters waaaaay outside their natural habitats.

They say that curiosity killed the cat, but it's also put all kinds of animals in strange predicaments. Take the bear in Connecticut that recently set Twitter ablaze after it was caught on camera wandering inside a liquor store. Luckily, neither customer nor bear was hurt, and the owners of the store were able to joke about the incident after the wild animal slipped back out through an automatic door. Here, a few other photos of animals outside their natural habitats, whether by chance, by an act of God, or by special human invitation.
